George Orwell wrote Animal Farm in order to express his dissatisfaction with the people admiring the USSR, the book was written as a allegory to the Russian Revolution. He used pigs to describe Stalin and the others in order to express the image of Stalin being a power hungry pig that uses other people in order to achieve his goals, Animal Farm was mainly influenced by his experience in the Spanish civil war where he was a anti-Stalin solider. His works are often against the ideology of Socialism and Dictatorship, he books are very bias as he “was a pioneer of the left wingers”(George Orwell and his Political Views, n.d). while this may seem extreme Orwell does support Democratic Socialism which gives more freedom to the crowd this may seem absurd buy Democratic Socialism goes against Maoism and Marxism. The Animal Farm was said to be fairy tale but after analyzing how George Orwell thinks when he wrote the book it’s confirmed that the story that was meant to be a allegory as a mocking to USSR and stop the idea of socialism and dictatorship spreading across into where the world may or could accept such ideas.
